THE OPPORTUNITY OF A LIFETIME - Tonight at Resurrection Camp Meeting 2024 , Pastor Loren Larson reads Acts 1:8 teaching on the power of God that every believer needs in their life. Following His crucifixion, Jesus told the early believers to go wait for the promise of the Father, that being baptized with the Holy Ghost. Brother Larson reminds us that now, more than ever, we need the supernatural power of God in our lives. Faith in the finished work of Christ on the Cross sets us free from everything and anything; for by faith, we have His power for life and living. By God’s design, He then brings in a second subsequent work of the Holy Spirit, that we may have power to take the life and truth of the gospel that we’ve received to a lost and dying world. Brother Larson shares the five different stories in the Book of Acts where we see God’s supernatural power expressed and the evidence of speaking with other tongues. Receiving this second infilling of the Spirit is a permanent opportunity, and when we freely receive, we can freely give. All believers are called to be witnesses unto Him and all that He is, and all that He’s done.
